Geh&ouml;rt habe ich sie alle, aber es fehlte an Motivation zur Besprechung. Nun, die Ohren zu und Nase auf, das Hirn brummt, da ist Zeit f&uuml;r Hazelwood und andere.<\/p>\n<p> Die beiden letzten Platten sind bei mir ja etwas schlecht weggekommen. Das hat einigen nicht gefallen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kritische-masse.de\/blog\/item\/507\"><i>Moonglow<\/i><\/a> von 2004 hielt ich f&uuml;r im wesentlichen misslungen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kritische-masse.de\/blog\/item\/138\"><i>Heat<\/i><\/a> versprach mehr Hitze als drinnen war. Aber MardiGras.bb von 2005 sind wieder da, wo sie sein sollten: im Saft mit wieder mehr scheppernden Arrangements, die Stimme kommt wieder direkt auf Band. Sie hat wieder die W&auml;rme und Schr&auml;gheit, die sie von sich aus fr&uuml;her immer gehabt hatte. Delta-Musik irgendwie. <!--break--> Die Wegnahme der technischen Nachbearbeitungen durch Effektkisten kommt der Musik sehr zugute. Jetzt ist es wirklich hei&szlig; in der Musik und zugleich locker &#8211;atmosph&auml;rischer, krokodiliger. Mardi Gras.bb sind auf dem R&uuml;ckzug dahin, wo sie ihre Meriten hatten. Das l&auml;sst man sich auch die Girlie-Background-Vocals gefallen.<\/p>\n<p> Im beiligenden Infofolder sprechen die Vermarkter von Reduktionismus. Okay, das ist ein wenig &uuml;bertrieben, es sind eben nicht mehr die gro&szlig;en aufgeladenen Arangements, sondern im Prinzip nur Stimme\/Ba&szlig;, Gitarre und Schlagzeug &uuml;brig geblieben. Garage! Die Werber sagen: &bdquo;Die intonierte Eskapade f&uuml;r den toleranten Stoiker in Three-Minor.&ldquo; Soviel Mut muss belohnt werden. <\/p>\n<p> Mein Lieblingsst&uuml;ck ist &bdquo;Berlin Girl&ldquo;
