Zum Beispiel: Wie sieht so ein Mensch aus, wenn er ganz klein ist. Woran ist der\/die gestorben. Bub, hol doch mal das Modell. Sch\u00f6n. Mit dem in Holland weilenden Zaren Peter dem Gro\u00dfen verband ihn Freundschaft; er verkaufte ihm seine anatomische Sammlung und verriet ihm auch das Geheimnis der Pr\u00e4paration. <strong>Leider kam die Sammlung nur zu einem Teil nach St. Petersburg, da die Matrosen auf der Reise den Spiritus austranken.<\/strong> &#8230; Eine stattliche Anzahl von anatomischen Entdeckungen ist Ruysch zuzuschreiben; darunter fallen die Klappen der Lymphgef\u00e4\u00dfe, die Arteriae bronchiales und intercostales externae sowie die Arteria centralis retinae, die genaue Beschreibung der Dr\u00fcsen, der Unterschied zwischen m\u00e4nnlichem und weiblichem Skelett, das Periost der Geh\u00f6rkn\u00f6chelchen, anatomische Untersuchungen des Auges und anderes. Mit  Malpighi lag er in einem Streit, der sich um die unterschiedliche Auffassung der beiden Mediziner \u00fcber den Bau von Leber, Milz und Niere drehte. \u00dcber alle seine Untersuchungen hinterlie\u00df Ruysch Schriften, die ein umfangreiches Gesamtwerk ergeben.
