Drei Klangmeister an den Saxophonen und Klarinetten. Energiest&ouml;&szlig;e, reine Tonaktivit&auml;t, kaum geb&auml;ndigt durch Organisationsstr&ouml;me. Peter Br&ouml;tzmann, Mats Gustafsson und Ken Vandermark veranstalten hier ein Klang-, Ton-, Ger&auml;uschgewitter, das donnert, knistert, sch&auml;umt, str&ouml;mt, dunkelt, erhellt. Immer wieder ist es von h&ouml;chster Erstaunlichkeit, wie hier Krach in musikalisch kinetische Energie umgewandelt wird &ndash; und umgekehrt. &bdquo;Straight Into The Light&ldquo;, gleich die erste Nummer der knapp 50-min&uuml;tigen Musikwalzen er&ouml;ffnet einen Tonkosmos extremen Ausma&szlig;es: kochend, kreischend, grummelnd, pulsierend &ndash; Tripelquasaren gleich.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>Das alles wirkt dann wie eine geradezu neue Lebensform: Prometheus spielte in Wirklichkeit Saxophon. Manchmal wie im Muster eines &bdquo;Wir bauen eine Stadt&ldquo;-Diktums, mal im Muster der blo&szlig;en Durchdringung aus sich selbst, eine Art musikalische Selbstverzehrung, eine sich selbst einst&uuml;lpende Lebensform, nachgerade sich selbst verdauend: Schwarze L&ouml;cher.  Man muss beim H&ouml;ren den Eindruck gewinnen, dass man miterlebt, wie es sein muss, wenn Materie entsteht. Eine ungeheuerliche Platte, Jetztzeit! (Und dann, irgendwo eine gr&ouml;&szlig;ere kleine Terz, f&uuml;r sich, ein Blues im Urzustand, vor seiner Entstehung.) &bdquo;Two Birds In A Feather&ldquo;: gleichwie herzensbeladen, ein Flugversuch unter Gravitationszwang. Abheben ohne Abgehobensein.
