Mit dieser CD und seiner Contemporary Band landete er im Jazz. Als Textautoren hat er mit Shakespeare und Anne Sexton eine merkw&uuml;rdige Kombination finden k&ouml;nnen, die auch f&uuml;r den Anspruch dieser Musik steht und Ma&szlig;st&auml;be setzt. Es ist erstaunlich eigentlich, wie sicher sich die Kompositionen und Arrangements Eggert im Bereich des Jazz ausleben. <\/p>\n<p>Die Haltung stimmt und mehr noch: Der Eggertsche Jazz ist nicht erkunstet oder verzwickelt sondern durch und durch erh&ouml;rt, unerh&ouml;rt erh&ouml;rt. Man befindet sich eindeutig im Genre des Jazz (und nirgendwo sonst), aber die Musik ist aus vor- und mith&ouml;renden Ohren geboren, die keine flapsigen F&uuml;llsel gestatten. Da sp&uuml;rt man einen musikalischen Ernst, der gleichwohl leicht und selbstverst&auml;ndlich daherkommt. Was wohl aus vielem Jazz heraus sticht ist die nicht nur rhythmische Tempofrage: Es gibt immer wieder raffinierte Wechsel in der Herstellung musikalischer Energie und klanglicher Dichte. Darin zumal liegt der Witz dieser Musik, die sich in Klischees des Jazz ansiedelt einerseits und andererseits diese Klischees laufend musikalisch verwundet. Das zieht eine Ungegl&auml;ttetheit im Ausdruck nach sich, der man einfach gerne seine Ohren leiht.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shariff shariff-align-left shariff-widget-align-left\"><ul
