Furcht? Bange? Wenn der Pr\u00e4sident der USA in der BRD gew\u00e4hlt worden w\u00e4re, so haben Z\u00e4hlheinis herausgefunden, h\u00e4tte Kerry mit 80 Prozent Mehrheit gewonnen. Na toll. Aber bei den eigenen Wahlen derartig versagen. Der Splitter im eigenen Auge sei das beste Vergr\u00f6\u00dferungsglas, sagte so \u00e4hnlich mal einer in den 40er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts. Da ist was dran. Und was dran ist auch daran, dass ein Kommentator in den Bl\u00e4ttern f\u00fcr deutsche und internationale Politik meinte, die letzten Wahlen in der BRD w\u00e4ren noch einigerma\u00dfen glimpflich abgelaufen. Das Potential, das Parteien wie die NPD und die DVU auf sich vereinigen k\u00f6nnten, sei erheblich h\u00f6her, als es die Wahlergebnisse widerspiegeln \u2014 es liege bei um die 20 Prozent und hat nicht im Mindesten etwas mit Protest zu tun, sondern vor allem mit einer real existierenden Mentalit\u00e4t, die aber nat\u00fcrlich auch nicht vom Himmel f\u00e4llt. Was h\u00e4lt uns da noch zur\u00fcck? Angst vor uns selbst?<\/p>\n<p>Weit davon entfernt, das ganze psychoanalytisch zu deuten, schwant mir aber doch B\u00f6ses, wenn die letzten Ketten der Vernunft (das ist kein gutes Wort, ich wei\u00df) rei\u00dfen.
