Den &#8220;Das Kritikon&#8221; gibt es wohl neu \u00fcbersetzt, ein absurdes Buch. Man kann an jeder Stelle anfangen zu lesen, immer wieder wird man eine Merkw\u00fcrdigkeit finden. Erinnert mich glatt an Musil, dessen Mann ohne Eigenschaften man nun wirklich nicht anders lesen kann als mit dem breitesten Grinsen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Graci\u00e1n, einer Empfehlung Luhmanns folgend, ist es anders. Da wirken alle Dinge so absurd, so fremd. Ein kleines Buch musste reichen f\u00fcr den Anfang. Es nennt sich Handorakel und Kunst der Weltklugheit. An sich, dem Titel nachgehend, eine Sache f\u00fcr den Hokuspokus-Fan. Denkste. Ist nicht so. Es handelt sich um 300 kurze Ratschl\u00e4ge, Hinweise und Beobachtungen. Fast allen kann man direkt ohne Umschweife zustimmen.<\/p>\n<p>Manchmal lese ich derlei zum Aufwachen. Schadet nicht. Heute war es aber schwierig, denn die Sprache der deutschen \u00dcbersetzung wirkte sehr gestelzt, sehr bem\u00fcht. Oder anders: Nicht einfach zu lesen.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"0000000000003e100000000000000000_8355\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-0000000000003e100000000000000000_8355-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-0000000000003e100000000000000000_8355-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">Ich merke es daran, wenn das laute Vorlesen nicht so ohne Umschweife gelingen will.<\/span> Und wer hats \u00fcbersetzt: Arthur Schopenhauer, h\u00e4tte man auch einfacher drauf kommen k\u00f6nnen. Nr. 162 war sehr prima. Aber Nr. 170 endete zitierend zum Thema <em>Bei allen Dingen stets etwas in Reserve<\/em> haben mit den Worten des Hesiodus: &#8220;Mehr ist die H\u00e4lfte als das Ganze&#8221; (<em>&#8220;\u03c0\u03bb\u03ad\u03bf\u03bd \u1f25\u03bc\u03b9\u03c3\u03c5 \u03c0\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03cc\u03c2&#8221;).<\/em> Nicht, dass ich griechisch k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p>Sucht man die tolle Suchmaschine Google nach diesem Satze ab, dann erh\u00e4lt man nur drei Ergebnisse. Eine f\u00fchrt zu Wiki, eines zum Zitat-Archiv und ein letztes zur einem Entkomplexit\u00e4ter. Der darauf verweist und meint, mit der H\u00e4lfte erreicht man mehr als mit der Erf\u00fcllung eines Parameters auf 100 Prozent. Das will mir nicht gen\u00fcgen. Graci\u00e1n sagte zuvor, \u00e4hnlich paradox: &#8220;Auch im Wissen muss es eine Arrieregarde geben, man verdoppelt dadurch seine Vollkommenheiten.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Die Vollkommenheit verdoppeln durch das Halbieren. Ich kann mir schon denken, dass mancheiner sagen wird, wie kann man denn \u00fcberhaupt: Vollkommenheit verdoppeln. Vollkommen ist vollkommen. Man kann es nicht doppeln. Anscheinend verstehe ich dann entweder von Logik nichts oder doch alles falsch; denn das Gemeinte und das Gesagte stehen in Erg\u00e4nzung. Manchmal muss man sich \u00fcber die <strong>Schranken der Sprache<\/strong> bewegen, obwohl man in ihr zugleich bleibt. Das eine ist gleichfalls nicht das andere, wenn jemand &#8211; immer \u00f6fter &#8211; sagt, es etwas das Einzigste.
