Man muss dazu wissen, ich war in den 90er Jahren in Folge bestimmter Texte Adornos zum Fan der Musik Kreneks geworden. Die beiden ersten Streichquartette kannte ich schon recht gut, ebenso wie die beiden krachenden ersten Sinfonien. Ich h\u00f6rte also auch das &#8220;Sp\u00e4twerk&#8221;, alles was nach dem Urschrei der zweiten Sinfonie folgte zumindest mit Neugier und Interesse. Dabei berichtete ich Schulz vom Beginn des vierten Quartetts. Die ersten 25 Sekunden!<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9lPIDRvyYjM?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=de-DE&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Das h\u00f6rte sich doch wirklich an wie Phil Glass, ein halbes Jahrhundert sp\u00e4ter. Diese furchtbaren Wechselnoten (siehe Metamorphosis f\u00fcr Piano von Glass)\u00a0 plus die Harmonik von fast \u00fcberall nur nicht so pr\u00e4zise. Ernst Krenek war mal wieder seiner Zeit weit voraus. So geht Avantgarde!<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QWDAwzQmnDI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=de-DE&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Das ist gewiss kein Diebstahl, jedenfalls w\u00fcrde man sich damit schwer tun, das anhand eines konkreten St\u00fccks nachzuweisen. Es ist ja eigentlich auch schlimmer: Aus diesem kurzen Gedankensplitter aus Ernst Kreneks viertem Streichquartett hat er einen kompletten Stil entwickelt. Eine Art Genom aus dem Krenek-Quartett dechriffriert. Weiter wird er es nicht angeh\u00f6rt haben, es versuppt danach ja auch etwas, verliert sich im musikalischen Nirgendwo.<\/p>\n<p>Die wesentlichen Bestandteile des Krenek-Genoms des vierten Streichquartetts hat Phil Glass damit \u00fcbernommen. Das musikalische (n)irgendwo und den repetitiven Charakter \u2013 bei gleichzeitiger Heiligung der Musik selbst. Eine huldvoll dr\u00f6ge Sache. Leider mit der Zeit bei Glass immer schlimmer werdend. Die Metamorphosis-St\u00fccke von ihm sind da nur die Spitze beweihr\u00e4ucherter musikalischer Eisw\u00fcrfel.<\/p>\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu dem recht popsph\u00e4risch zusammenpassenden Film &#8220;<span id=\"eow-title\" class=\"watch-title \" dir=\"ltr\" title=\"Koyaanisqatsi - reverse ( ISTAQSINAAYOK ) life out of balance \/ life back to balance...\">Koyaanisqatsi&#8221; zum Beispiel &#8211; bei dem man sich durchaus das Experiment leisten darf, den r\u00fcckw\u00e4rts anzusehen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yt watch-title-container\"><strong><span id=\"eow-title\" class=\"watch-title \" dir=\"ltr\" title=\"Koyaanisqatsi - reverse ( ISTAQSINAAYOK ) life out of balance \/ life back to balance...\">Koyaanisqatsi &#8211; reverse ( ISTAQSINAAYOK ) life out of balance \/ life back to balance&#8230; <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_5Hr1C62Smk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=de-DE&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Es ist ja auch mit Minimal Music f\u00fcr diese musikalische Richtung nichts gewonnen. Heinz-Klaus Metzger hat sie immer richtiger als &#8220;repetitive Musik&#8221; bezeichnet, weil sie nicht viel mit dem Kunststil verbinde. Ich halte es auch lieber auf diese Weise.
