Zur Sprache kamen dabei eigenartigen Verh\u00e4ltnisse beim Zustandekommen des ECHO Jazz. Nach eigenen Worten.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Die Deutsche Phono-Akademie, das <strong>Kulturinstitut des Bundesverbandes Musikindustrie<\/strong> e. V., ehrt mit dem Preis j\u00e4hrlich herausragende und erfolgreiche Leistungen nationaler und internationaler K\u00fcnstler. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.musikindustrie.de\/echo\/\">Quelle<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Manchem kommt die Kombination schon etwas eigenartig vor. Das klingt ein bisschen wie das Freiheitsministerium von Nordkorea. Aber eben so handelt es. Wenn es kaum Honorare f\u00fcr die auftretenden K\u00fcnstler beim ECHO Jazz verteilt. Oder wie Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Florian Dr\u00fccke \u00fcber das Einsparpotential bei einer K\u00fcrzung des roten Teppich nachdenkt.<\/p>\n<p>Der angeblich so bedeutende Preis, den man sich leisten k\u00f6nnen muss, was ist das denn wohl? Ich nehme an, dass auch der angebliche Vorstand in Person Prof. Gornys schwer Eintritt zu entrichten hatte. Die Presse auch, \u00fcberhaupt. Alles wegdeckeln.<\/p>\n<p>Es w\u00e4re einfach ein bisschen ehrlich, wenn man das zugeben w\u00fcrde; und es w\u00e4re auch ein bisschen ehrlich, wenn dies alle Beteiligten t\u00e4ten. Auch die K\u00fcnstlerinnen, auch die Journalistinnen, auch die Labelbetreiberinnen, auch die Moderatorinnen. Und die Fans. Anders freilich, wenn sich alle gerne betr\u00fcgen lassen wollen. Auch das w\u00e4re hinnehmbar, wenn man es kenntlich machen w\u00fcrde. Als musikalische Butterfahrt oder als Kaffeefahrt f\u00fcr ein darbendes Metier. Am Ende hat man dann seine musikalische W\u00e4rmedecke gut verkauft.<\/p>\n<p>Aber es sind auch die Mitglieder der Jury zu erw\u00e4hnen, die den Preis &#8220;nobilitieren&#8221; &#8211; vom WDR, dem NDR, Jazzjournalisten mit Amt und W\u00fcrden. Alle machen sie da mit. Manche aber eben auch definitiv nicht. Die Presse-Interviews vor Ort mit dem andauernden &#8220;Was bedeutet Ihnen der Preis?&#8221;-Gefrage, auch schwach. Stark hingegen 3sat, die das St\u00fcck sendeten. Und stark der Filmautor. Stark manche Interviewpartner innerhalb des Filmes.<\/p>\n<p>Anna-Lena Schnabel hat die Sache im Film \u00fcbrigens wirklich gut gel\u00f6st.
