Ich habe mich entschlossen, ihn jetzt zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen, damit die Akte Roth langsam geschlossen werden kann. Andererseits hat sich grundlegend nichts ge\u00e4ndert an dem, was hier angesprochen wird. Sie hat zwar viel zu sagen \u2013 in ihrem Amt \u2013, aber was sie anfasst von der Substanz her, geht seltsam schief, so wie diese <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kritische-masse.de\/logbuch\/2023\/06\/15\/kulturfloppass-der-bundesregierung\/\">Kulturpasssachen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Claudia Roth ist erst seit wenigen Monaten im Amt der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung f\u00fcr Kultur und Medien und widerspiegelt zugleich die Geschichte von Hase und Igel. Sie ist irgendwie \u00fcberall und nirgendwo, so der Eindruck. Manchmal \u00fcberdecken offenbar die Aktivit\u00e4ten einen grunds\u00e4tzlichen Leerlauf, der sich dann darin ausdr\u00fcckt, dass man fast nie Handfestes mit nach Hause nehmen kann, obwohl man so viel Gerede und Geschreibe liest. Auch Vielsprechende sind manchmal seltsam stumm.<\/p>\n<p>Sicher ist das Amt, das Claudia Roth bekleidet, vom Kern der Demokratie aus betrachtet das Wichtigste \u00fcberhaupt: Es geht n\u00e4mlich um Kultur und es geht um Medien, eben um das was die Menschen \u00fcber die Grenzen hinweg zusammenh\u00e4lt und \u00fcber das man gerne streitet, damit die Gesellschaft in Freiheit, Sicherheit und W\u00fcrde fortschreiten kann. Gerade im Bereich der Kultur w\u00e4ren tiefe Eingriffe in die soziale Sicherung der Kulturteilnehmer:innen dringend geboten \u2013 und keine wei\u00df es so gut wie Claudia Roth selbst (sie hatte ihre Agenda in einem Zeit-Artikel bereits verk\u00fcndet); gleichwohl: passiert ist da fast gar nichts. Wo Kultur nicht gepflegt und gef\u00f6rdert wird, das sieht man am Beispiel Russlands, erodiert ein ganzer Staat in Chaos und Chauvinismus, unberechenbare Gewaltaktionen inklusive. Bei den Medien sieht es nicht viel anders aus: in den sozialen Netzen, aber nicht nur dort, explodieren Hypertrophie und Desinformation. Doch au\u00dfer warmen Worten wie: \u201eDie Freiheit der Kunst, der Kultur, der Meinung ist der Lackmustest f\u00fcr Demokratien weltweit\u201c oder \u201eKunst und Kultur und ihre Vielfalt zu f\u00f6rdern und die soziale Lage von K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstlern zu verbessern ist in diese Zeiten ein Beitrag zur Sicherung unserer Demokratie\u201c gibt es so gut wie nie etwas Konkretes, \u00fcber das auch man (kritisch) berichten k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p>Ich denke, das liegt auch daran, dass sie, anders als Monika Gr\u00fctters, zu sehr in einer Reihe mit Naumann, Nida-R\u00fcmelin als Sch\u00f6ngeist steht, wo Gr\u00fctters pragmatisch, aber auch nicht so betonklotzig wie Bernd Neumann, auf der Regierungsbank genetworkt hatte. Gr\u00fctters hat das Amt tats\u00e4chlich in einer Breite aufgestellt, die ihren Nachfolger:innen zum Verh\u00e4ngnis werden kann.
